We expect our staff members to be courteous, friendly, honest, and engaging. Every customer is greeted with a smile and a welcome. Our customers should feel great about their visit and our staff is a huge part of making that happen. We expect you to treat everyone with respect and professionalism. Having fun while working is great; however, you are at work and representing Four Seas Ice Cream, Peggy and Douglas. _ As much as we would like to allow everyone the flexibility to work whenever it is most convenient for them, the reality of this business is the most of busy times occur during the evenings and weekends, especially weekend nights and holidays. So these are the important times we need you to be available to work so that our customers get the great service that they expect. School responsibilities should come first, so we’ll be as flexible as possible in scheduling shifts around your school and sports schedules. In return, we ask that you be flexible in understanding that if the weather is cold or rainy, your shift may get canceled or be shortened. ________And IF, you are heading off to college or an off Cape school, we ask you to not leave until 2 or 3 days prior to classes starting. So plan on packing/ planning accordingly. _ _ _ _ _ _ - --A job requirement is that you be available to work every weekend during the summer (within reason: one or two missed weekends during the summer are understandable, provided you’ve given the proper notices or trading) and maybe one shift per week/weekend during the off-season. _ IF YOU CAN’T COMMIT TO THIS, THEN PLEASE DON’T APPLY! We’ve replaced team members in the past for not living up to this commitment.
