- To help the Randall Mark Warren Scholarship Fund we have two different events.
- The MEMORIAL GARDEN - There will a garden area down by the ATM shed that will be spruced up with bushes and flowers along with a benches for RANDY (Randy was taken in 1983 when he was hit by a car on spring break in Fort Lauderdale FL) and DICK
- WARREN aka “CHIEF” (who died in 2008 in a skiing accident in NH). Besides the plantings and the benched the area will have brick pavers that can be purchased in memory of a lost loved one for $100 and all profits from the bricks will go to the scholarship fund.
- The CELEBRITY SCOOP – Normally the 3rd Thursday of each June Four Seas donates 50% of the days proceeds to the scholarship fund. This year we decided to kick it up a notch and make it a 3 day event! Staring on Thursday June 18th we have our usual day with a twist- LOCAL celebrity’s will be scooping and serving all day. Newspaper editors, Radio DJs, Presidents of Colleges, and many others will be serving you during the day and night; with at least one band playing outside by the ATM under a tent. Last year the last group of family/Staff that was hired by Chief came back and worked on the Friday night after the RMW Day and they raised an additional $2000 towards the fund. So we are having the 2nd Annual Alumni “We Scoop for Chief” night. To top it off, Saturday we plan on having more national known celebrities scooping/ serving along with many BANDS playing throughout the day. WOW! The RMW scholarship helps with costs to college bound seniors.
- CAPE COD IDOL (Flavor Style) - Submit a new flavor of ice cream and it could end up on our menu next year! From now to June 21st and Four Seas will select the top 12 flavors that are worthy of being on the menu. Starting in July each week 2 people will be voted off the Cape by the voters (who also could win random free cones just for voting) – So come in and VOTE! The final four top flavors will get made so you can come in, taste, and vote.
- The GOLDEN TICKET - Similar to Willie W., if you find a “golden ticket” in your quart this summer; then you can help make ice cream with us! And then you can take a “batch” home with you.
- FLAVORS of the WEEK - We will also submitting our own new flavors; each week we will showcase an original/new flavor never seen (or tasted) before. These will be available in fountain (for scooping/ frappes) and Quarts ONLY. Quantities are limited - so try them quickly.
- PHOTOs and ART contest – We will be receiving photos and art work in 4 age categories: under 8, 8 to 13, 14 to 18, and over 18. The top 4 of each age group of the photos and art pieces will be posted on the web site over the winter to be voted on, and each winner will a free pint of ice cream for each week we’re open in 2010!
